| Skill Details: | Please understand how to read a pattern, sew a 1/4 inch seam, and cut using a rotary cutter. Having an understanding of foundation paper piecing is helpful but not required. |

| Instructor Bio: | Hello, I'm Ann! I'm a retired middle school math teacher and quilt pattern designer living in Eagle River, Alaska. I've been quilting since 2010 and began publishing my own quilt patterns in 2021. My designs combine fresh takes on traditional quilt elements with clear, easy-to-follow instructions. I enjoy creating patterns that help quilters build their skills while making beautiful quilts they'll be proud to finish and share. Teaching is one of my favorite parts of quilting. Drawing on more than 25 years of classroom experience, I strive to create a welcoming learning environment where students gain confidence, learn new techniques, and enjoy the process of making quilts.
